Details, et cetera:
No 3, July, includes a shot taken at Carnegie Steel's Carrie Furnace, one of the last remaining examples of iron blast furnace in the country and listed as a National Historic Site. More about the Furnace can be found on Jake Rambles.
No 4, August, has as it's background part of the Worhola Recycling building and grounds. Worhola was the family name amended somewhat by artist Andy Worhol, and a museum of his work is now just a short distance away on Pittsburgh's North Side.
No 7, November, has imagery that I was playing with for the Fontannelle series of book covers, but left on the electronic drawing board. I don't remember now why I quit the idea. I kept the material that I'd developed, though not knowing what I might do with it, and now it's a magazine cover!
No 8, December, includes a tripodal gun platform idea that has been bouncing around in my head for some time--at least every time I pick up that particular tripod anyway (I have a small collection of tripods). That I recently purchased, and avidly paged through, two of Simon Stalenhag's books pushed the idea further, and I decided it was time to realize the notion.
