I suppose you could say that Bibliofancy contains the "meat & potatoes" of the site, and indeed, these make up the majority of the works.
Well, I think they do. I did a count to compare once a couple years ago, but I haven't lately. ANYway -
The movie material and the adverts were good practice, I think, and most are earlier works; a proving ground, after a fashion, while I was learning the basics of photo-manipulation. True that some book works and movie works overlapped as contemporaries, but the book covers have kept my attention so much more. Those earlier works, both book and movie related, pointed more toward a serialization of art/story, which would find its better outlet in the book covers. After all, most movie ads don't have much in the way of words, and I really found myself wanting to get more expansive with the ideas behind the images.
