Details et cetera:
No 1, May: the B-17 is, in reality, Nine Oh Nine, the "G" model flown by the Collings Foundation. The original photo was taken in Valparaiso, with Collings' Wings of Freedom tour.
UPDATE: sadly, Nine-Oh-Nine was destroyed in Connecticut in 2019; problems with one engine caused the pilot, "Mac" McCauley (a veteran pilot with Collings Foundation) to radio in and attempt to return to the airfield. Unfortunately, he was unable to make it back to the runway; the plane struck guide stanchions, which caused a severe turn to port, and the plane skidded into service buildings. 7 of the fourteen on board were killed, and many of the others were taken to hospital. Connecticut Post has an article about the "last minutes" of the flight.
No 3, July: the farmhouse parlor is in one of the historic structures at Greenfield Village, part of the Ford Museum in Dearborn Park, MI. The "tag" for Greenfield Village at the bottom of the page will link to further 'blog posts on Jake Rambles n'at. Part of the reason I went up to see the village was to take photos of interiors like this so that I could add them to my "stock image collection."
No 4, August: additional modeling by Wyndham Maxwell and Molly Bader.
No 10, February: no I didn't plan on a cover being published so near to "Blade Runner Month," 'cause if I had, I would have published it in November of 2019, when the movie was set. It just didn't occur to me! Strangely enough.
