So, why this kind of extension in story telling?  Because the idea came to me to do it.  It's an extension of the idea already broached with the pages from Beyond Orbit.  While it does cross the imaginary line I sort-of established with that very first book cover and provides much more of my own thoughts than what's simply on the jacket copy, once I had the first page of an "interview" I just wanted to keep going.  It is, I suppose, yet another experiment (for me - I know it's not new as an idea) in words and images, and a chance for Rachel to "act" a little more.  Maybe I'll actually write a whole story one of these days after all!
