The Hotel Room Part of the set for The Time Of Your Life at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (2007), James Wolk designer.
A "full set shot" for this show can be seen on the Theatre page. In that photo the bar, and the back bar with its wall, occupy the center of the set. That bar and back bar/wall assembly were on a revolve; the other side was this room. Minus the view through the window, of course.
While these scenic elements were still in the shop, I was told that the hotel room scene lasted all of 4 minutes, 36 seconds, and I proceeded to kvetch at some length about all the work we were doing for such a short span. However, once the whole thing was up and done, I had to admit that this little room was my favorite part of the whole enterprise. All the elements just "clicked," and I took quite a number of photos of it.
This is also the only (I think) instance where you will see an element that is not mine: the bridge picture beyond the window was nicked from the internet.
